Is the Free tier really free?

Yes. The web product (meridianfin.io) is fully readable anonymously — Congress trades, dark pool, insiders, 13F, ARK, confluence, Knowledge Hub. No card required. Pro adds unlimited watchlist and developer API access.

How does x402 pay-per-call work?

x402 is a micropayments standard for HTTP APIs. When you call a paid endpoint, the server responds with a 402 challenge listing the price (USDC on Base L2). Agent SDKs that implement x402 settle the micropayment automatically — typically a few cents per call, no subscription, no API key.

When does Pro become available?

Pro billing is not live yet. Sign up for Free now and we will notify you the moment Pro launches. All Pro features listed are already implemented in the product — they unlock the moment your account has `plan=pro` in Supabase.

Do I need an API key?

No. The Discovery tier and many sample endpoints work with no auth. x402 pay-per-call requires no API key either — payment happens at the protocol layer. A Pro subscription includes an API key (10,000 requests/month); for volumes beyond that, contact us.

What payment networks do you support for x402?

USDC on Base L2 (Coinbase's L2). Other chains may be added later. See `/developers#x402` for the live spec.
